1 prickly pear fruit.
1/2 cup water.
3 Splenda packets.
1 1/2 oz. tequila.
1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice.
1/2 oz. triple sec.
1. To make the homemade syrup, remove the skin from one prickly pear fruit. Dice the flesh and boil with 1/2 cup water and three Splenda packets. Strain the mixture to remove any seeds.
2. Combine 1 1/2 oz. of syrup with remaining ingredients and shake in a mixing tin. Strain the ingredients into a margarita glass. Garnish with a fresh lime.
