Serve it with your favorite fruit and make it even healthy!<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1-3\/4 cup whole wheat flour*<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp of salt<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp baking powder<\/li>\n<li>2 egg yolks<\/li>\n<li>2 egg whites<\/li>\n<li>1-3\/4 cup skim milk<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup unsweetened applesauce<\/li>\n<li>3 tsp organic honey<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>ADD HIGH FIBER FRUITS SUCH AS: BLUEBERRIES, STRAWBERRIES, \u00a0BANANAS, NUTS TO INCREASE YOUR FIBER INTAKE.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Servings Per Recipe: 5<\/p>\n<p>*Make sure your buy &#8220;WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR&#8221;. The label should list &#8220;Whole Wheat Flour&#8221; not enriched wheat flour. Enriched wheat is not whole wheat and you will not get the same benefits.<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>In a large mixing bowl stir flour, baking powder, honey and salt.\u00a0In a small mixing bowl beat egg yolks, milk, vanilla and applesauce.<br \/>\nAdd to the flour mixture all at once.\u00a0Stir mixture until blended.\u00a0In small mixer bowl beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold<br \/>\nbeaten egg whites into original mixture and do not over mix.\u00a0Pour batter onto preheated waffle maker which has been sprayed with<br \/>\nnon-fat cooking spray.\u00a0They take about 3-5 minutes to cook.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Healthy Tips for breakfast convenience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make extra batter and freeze the waffles.
