The first thing you need to do is clean out your pantry and refrigerator. It’s likely most of the items in there are going to be processed foods and will not be up to the standards of Drs. Oz and Roizen. Over-processed foods, those containing high fructose corn syrup, anything that says hydrogenated, trans-fats and other food ingredients that do more harm than good have to go immediately. You’ll replace them with whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean proteins and healthy fats.

    I’ve been brousing this web site for an hour. There is too much on it, and is not very user friendly for a computer dunce. I’ve been looking for the recipes given today, January 6th, and have found nothing. I haven’t given up, but couldn’t you make a special page for just the current day’s recipes? Alternatively, post a list of dates and the recipes that follow with clicking on that date. Thank you. I did not watch Dr. Oz for a long time, scoffing “oh those silly women, falling for a charming, charismatic man.” I finally did, and fell madly in love. Will you marry me, Dr. Oz? (Im only 83 years old).

    Nature’s Secret 5-Day Fast and Cleanse Kit!

    I won’t lie – I could only make it through the day on day 4! I had to eat a real dinner by that evening! I mixed the fiber “powder” with orange juice because I couldn’t handle it with water (and yes, I read in the directions that you’re not suppose to drink OJ because of its acidity – I didn’t care). I think it’s a good concept, but I wouldn’t do a 5 day cleanse again; I would shoot for a 3 day one. I lost 5 pounds over the 3 1/2 days, and it helped me reset my eating habits. I STRICTLY DID THIS TO LOSE WEIGHT, and I feel it was worth it for those 3 1/2 days, plus now I’m eating smaller meals (please don’t judge if you think this is more about cleansing your body – you can do it for your reasons, I did it for mine – TO LOSE WEIGHT). I started eating a lot lighter 3 days before I started the “cleanse,” so I lost 2 pounds before I even started. My goal is 10 pounds total, so if I can continue to eat less with a “shrunken” stomach (I’m using the rest of the pills/mix for breakfast and lunch until they’re gone), then I’ll feel it was totally worth it! Oh, and a tip: if you go for the whole 5 days, do it Monday through Friday so you’re not tempted with weekend junkfood!!

  • I love Dr. Oz. and I have changed the way I eat. I never knew that processed foods had so many chemicals in them. I also purchased The Nature’s Secret 5 Day Fast detox Cleanse Kit this is my second purchase; my frist was about 8 months back. I was hungry at first but the Fiber Cleanse made me -kinda- full when I drank it with juice. I did feel better and lighter and like my body is “well” and energetic; but I was too hungry after day 3, so I started eating :) It is still great that I felt good on day 3, I am intending to stick to it this time because I think after day 5 it will be worth it…

    I have been an advocate for detox therapy for years after surgeries, pharmaceutical medications, or changes in the weather to protect and strengthen the immune system. After having two rounds of Litocaine injections recently in my neck as an attempt to break up calcification deposits causing inflammation in the muscles and pain as a result of an old automobile accident, I had experienced a bad reaction to the drug, the neurologist explained that 20% of the drug remains in your system. This was not an option for me as the remainder of the drug was making me ill. After doing research I found this product, the 5 day fast & cleanse. The directions do not recommend doing two cycles back to back, however, I did, reason being that, although I felt a slight change, I still didn’t feel I was rid of the Litocaine. After the second cycle I felt enormously improved, lethargic feeling having left, drug risidual gone. I will freely admit that not eating is difficult, even though I am not a big eater, ten days is extensive, but in following the recommended guidelines pertaining to juicing vegetables alleviated the hunger that struck routinely at 12 in the afternoon daily. I do not recommend deviating from the directions at all, however, in my situation I felt it necessary. After completing the 2nd cycle I felt 90% improved. I will use this product again in the future and feel so strongly about the benefits of this particular fast & cleanse I ordered a set for each of my parents which they will begin this week. My father has been suffering from a prescribed antibiotic that actually caused him a bug which reaked havic on his intestinal track. Irony at its finest. The doctors then placed him on another antibiotic which is now causing vomitting. This has been going on for 2 weeks. I have complete faith that this product will flush the infections virus from his system & replace all the healthy bacteria with the aid of phytonutrients.     Nature’s Secret 5-Day Fast and Cleanse Kit

    I tried it and here are the results:

    Day 1
    I did this the day after New Years. I was still a bit hungover and I ate a ton of not so healthy meals the day before. But day one wasn’t too bad. I was just getting over food poisoning and I was mentally prepared to go through it. The pills are HUGE. Enough to feel like they were actual meals! The fiber drink was absolutely DISGUSTING the first time I tried it and wondered if I could even manage the whole kit without wanting to puke.

    Day 2
    At this point, I looked forward to the fiber drink. Which was pretty sad, but I knew in the end it would be good. My energy level was the same. I did do some light gym work on the first and second days, but I knew if I would not last if I kept it up so after the second day I stopped. I have been only drinking water and herbal teas for the first two days on this cleanse. Still wasn’t going to the bathroom to flush out, so I took an entra colon clear that evening.

    Day 3
    The most challenging day for myself. No energy what-so-ever. It was an absolute struggle to get out of bed and getting ready for work. I picked up some pressed carrot juice and after a glass (mixed with fiber), I was back in the game. I realized that my blood sugar must have been low. This was the day I finally “flushed” everything out of my system…oddly, I continued to do so everytime I would have to relieve myself in the restroom. Decided to stick to the juice every morning and night.

    Day 4
    Feeling better, energy is higher. Although, I don’t know why I tortured myself with watching the Food Network during my entire fast.

    Day 5
    AMAZING. My energy level was similar to when I drink cups and cups of coffee. But the best part, it was a natural energy. I made myself a smoothie with apples, spinach, cucumbers and blueberries that evening. I wanted to reintroduce myself to food in a safer way.

    In conclusion, I am glad I did this cleanse. I am an lacto-ovo vegetarian, so I normally eat clean. But during the holidays I went a little crazy with eating a lot of sugary and processed foods. I ate whatever cookie and sweets were around. Then I got food poisoning on Christmas which ruined me. I knew that if I completed this kit, I would get back to my old clean eating habits.

    I am going to continue to eat clean and raw for a couple of weeks and reintroduce dairy into my diet slowly. Overall, an amazing cleanse and I encourage anyone to try it. It’s challenging, but in the end, it’s all worth it. Oh yeah, I lost 7.5 lbs!
